We exist to give you the personalized hospitality experience that dreams are made of and we’ve fashioned all rooms with particular pieces that allow us to do just that. As we reach out prior to your stay to gather your preferences and desired room settings, indulge us and allow us to create your custom experience...this is how the magic of heartfelt hospitality is forged.

Kindly take note we’ll be asking for your preferred room temperature so that we may set it before you arrive. Snug and cozy or cool and refreshing, we’ll have it perfectly comfortable as you step into your room.

We invite you to set down on a plump, button-tufted couch beneath glowing overhead lighting, settle in on a fluffy or firm king mattress south of a luxurious upholstered headboard or bathe in calmness in an immense walk-in glass-wall shower. Spoon through a delectable meal brought to your doorstep and sip on the flavors of Hillsborough with cocktails crafted with unique twists that will keep your palate engaged and your mind at ease. Come enjoy an intimate and cozy experience and see for yourself what heartfelt hospitality looks like.

Queen Double Rooms

Sleeps 4 - Indulge in comfort and space for the entire family. These suites have two lavish queen beds with upholstered headboards. The bedroom and spacious lounge area are sectioned with custom casework that boasts a double-door wardrobe to hang creaseless formal attire and a desk with LED lighting for inspired notes and composition. Stretch out and cozy up on the button-tufted sectional and enjoy a glass of wine (or two) delivered to your door. Pair it with an intimate conversation, a good read or your favorite show on a flat-screen TV. Whatever your mind, body, and spirit are hungering for, let The Colonial Inn wrap you in complete satisfaction.

King Suite Rooms

Sleeps 2 - Retreat to a private and personal haven for two. A perfect pied-a-terre with generous living room space and cushioned with a button-tufted sectional. The room is lined with soft rugs underfoot and above with warm, delightful lighting. Fade away into cloud-like pillows floating on heavenly duvets or let the steam billow out of the walk-in shower while you wash away worry and stress. Wrap up in waffle-weave robes and know the only hard decision will be which enticing Hillsborough-inspired cocktail to order first.

Luxury Suite

Sleeps 2 - Newlyweds, couples and honeymooners...surrender to the ultimate plush comforts and discover our most lavish and expansive suite on the property. Spanning across an entire wing of the original structure, the luxury suite has a private entrance directly off of the second-story porch. Enter into the living area adorned with lush furnishings, warm radiance, and modern amenities before moseying over to a wet bar nestled next to the brick chimney. Sneak onward into the bedroom, unwind and unfurl in fluffy white pillows, melt into a luxuriant duvet and hide away together for just as long as you’d like. Toast bubbly over bubbles in the self-heated jacuzzi tub with a second wet-bar steps away. Be bothered only by sumptuous chocolate-dipped strawberries at your request and kindly note a convenient “Do Not Disturb” sign is most available to you.
